The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on issues such as agricultural-photovoltaic complementarity, liquid energy storage, international development, school-enterprise cooperation, and the establishment of academician workstations, and signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement.

Key Ke Liu, male, born in May 1964, American nationality, energy scientist, foreign academician of the Australian Academy of Technology, Science and Engineering, chair professor of the Department of Chemistry of Southern University of Science and Technology, dean of the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship of Southern University of Science and Technology, dean of the Institute of Clean Energy of Southern University of Science and Technology, and distinguished professor of Shandong Agricultural Engineering College. Academician Liu Ke's research directions mainly include: ①, research and development of trace element and mineral separation technology, low energy consumption, high efficiency preparation of ultra-clean solid fuels and related additives, and by-product trace element mineral soil conditioner; ②, industrial application of coal-based ultra-clean solid fuels, including pyrolysis, hydrogenation, gasification, combustion characteristics research and corresponding new technology development; ③, research and development of new methanol-based fuels and high compression ratio internal combustion engine technology, replacing diesel with new methanol-based fuels and transforming and optimizing the fuel supply and combustion systems of existing internal combustion engines; ④, on-board methanol-based fuel online catalytic conversion, solving the common problem of methanol-based fuels that are not easy to compress and ignite; ⑤, on-board methanol-based fuel hydrogen production research of fuel cell vehicles, etc. Liu Ke organized the Clean Energy Research Institute of Southern University of Science and Technology and the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship of Southern University of Science and Technology.
